SCOPE OF THE MANUSCRIPTS
Journal of Analytical Sciences (JAS) publishes articles that present, within the field of interest of analytical sciences: unpublished original and significant research in the fundamental theory, practice, development and application of analytical and bioanalytical sciences. lt covers the interdisciplinary aspects of analysis in food, pharmaceutical, biomedical, agro-allied, petrochemical and related sciences. Papers dealing with the analytical aspects of environment and herbal products are also acceptable.
In determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny will be placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in Analytical sciences. In all submissions to the Journal, authors must address the question of how a proposed methodology compares with previously reported methods.
Although short articles are considered, the journal strongly discourages fragmentation of a substantial body of work into a number of short publications. Also, the journal strongly discourages papers reporting the application of routine/well established analytical procedures unless they contain biochemical principles or applications of exceptional novelty.
The journal is an international medium directed towards the needs of academics. public analysts, government and industrial analysis. Contribution which fulfils the scope of the journal will be welcomed from anywhere in the world. The language of the journal is English. All manuscripts should be written in the past tense with impersonal style.
Two issues of the journal shall be published annually. The Journal also publishes short communications, comments, discussion and exchange of scientific opinions concerning materials published in the journal and reviews of subjects of current interest which may be solicited or unsolicited. Authors may also be required to declare any actual or potential conflict of interest.
